Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about deposits, auctions, shipping, payments, documents, and fees.

We require a ¥150,000 auction deposit to activate bidding. If you win and pay within 3 business days, we credit the deposit to your final invoice. If you win but fail to pay, the auction house may retain the deposit according to its policy.

You tell us your target vehicle and budget. We shortlist units with photos and auction sheets, then bid only after your approval. If we win, we handle payment guidance, deregistration, export documents, shipping booking, and loading support.

Typical lead time is around 6–10 weeks to East Africa, depending on vessel schedule, port congestion, inspection timing, and document processing. We update you from purchase until Bill of Lading.

Our agency fees are transparent and depend on the purchase arrangement. We explain the car price, auction or seller costs, inland transport, export handling, and shipping separately before you commit.

Payment is normally made by bank transfer to our official account. For auction purchases, payment timing is strict, so we confirm the invoice and required deadline immediately after a successful bid.

You may receive the invoice, export certificate, Bill of Lading, and inspection certificate where required. We also share available auction sheets, photos, and condition information before purchase.

CARJU JAPAN mainly works as a sourcing agency. We help clients find vehicles from auctions, dealers, and private sellers instead of limiting them to only one stock list.
